Sweetview is a charming, 150 year old traditional stonebuilt Irish cottage. It was completely restored, refurbished and extended in 2009. The style is contemporary modern, delicately balanced with the period charm of features such as original wooden floors, exposed stone walls and open fire places.It is ideally located, about an hour by car from Dublin, in the Midlands of Ireland, on the outskirts of Abbeyleix, one of Ireland's best known Heritage towns. Sweetview was originally part of the historic de Vesci Estate.The cottage is set in a very convenient yet private location just a short (800 m) walk from the centre of Abbeyleix. It is surrounded by mature gardens and borders accessible forestry.
